How are chlamydia and gonorrhea cured?

Both chlamydia and gonorrhea are 100% curable. This means that treated early, you won’t show any effects of the diseases later.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea are usually cured by medicines called antibiotics. Usually, you will only take one pill to get cured. But, sometimes, you might have to take two or more pills over a couple of days. Whenever you get medicines, always make sure you take them EXACTLY as you are told to! Do this even if you feel better before you finish the medicine. Also, be sure to come back for any follow up appointments to make sure that you are totally cured. Don’t have sex until you know that you are cured, you will give chlamydia and gonorrhea to anybody you have sex with.
